The Wisconsin Chamber Choir is accepting new members in all voice parts for the
2017-18 season. We seek capable singers with excellent
sight-reading skills who are willing to commit to all rehearsals

Gehrenbeck will e-mail you to set-up a time for you once he
receives your application.
Auditions will take place on the following dates at Midvale Community Lutheran Church, Madison (4329 Tokay Blvd)
During the audition, you will be asked to sing short exercises that demonstrate your range, vocal timbre, and sight singing ability. Singers who are new to the WCC are encouraged to bring a short prepared piece, but this is not absolutely required. All singers will be required to sing a brief excerpt from the WCC’s 2017-18 repertoire. You will be given your starting pitch, and a simple piano accompaniment will be provided (not including your part):
Singers who are chosen for the choir will be contacted by the director within a week of your audition date. Those not chosen will be invited to audition again in the future. The vocal needs of the organization frequently change. Consequently, we encourage singers to remain in contact with the WCC for information on future needs. Regular members are asked to commit to an entire season's participation.

We hold weekly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings 7:00–9:30 p.m. at Midvale Community Lutheran Church on the west side of Madison. Rehearsals begin on the Tuesday after Labor Day (September 5). The Wisconsin Chamber Choir sings a two repertoire season including:
Chamber Choir is a volunteer ensemble comprised of talented
musicians from Southern
Wisconsin. Singers pay a nominal membership fee to support the
choir each semester.
